Vikings @ Lions: Expose the Holes
How about the Vikings, remaining as the only undefeated team left in the NFL! They beat a terrible Colts team in which they again, held their opponent to under 22 points. Green Bay in Week 1 was the only team to hit that number, every other opponent Minnesota has played has scored less than 20 points. This really feels like one of the weakest undefeated teams in NFL history. Kyler Murray isn’t doing anything special, as he concluded the game with 150 yards passing a just 1 TD

Raiders @ Jets: Change Can Be Good
The Raiders have taken another step back. That is four straight losses after 3 straight wins to start the season. Basically, everything has regressed for Las Vegas. From their offense or their run game, to their defense or their pass coverage, they are struggling on all fronts. Kirk Cousins keeps having big number games, as he finished with 2 TDs and 295 yards in the air, but he is missing throws and taking sacks he’s seemingly not aware of. Their ground game totaled to just

Colts @ Jags: Sell Off the Toys
Oh boy, the Colts are having a fire sale. Since their last game, they have traded Quenton Nelson, Deforest Buckner, and now Josh Downs wants out of Indy, as he requested a trade today. The crazy thing is, the Colts almost beat the undefeated Vikings as I predicted. They lost 16-10, and of course, blew their chances at winning this game. The Vikings kick a FG to go up 16-10 with 1:39 left on the clock. More than enough time to drive down the field, score, and win the game. But

Browns @ Steelers: They Don't Draw Pictures on the Scorecard
The Browns snapped off a second win in a row as they went wire to wire with the Titans last Sunday. Tennessee held off Cleveland for a lot of the first half, but the Browns were able to kick a FG on the last drive of the half to put them up 3 points. From there, they started to take control of the game. The Browns defense held the Titans offense and even forced a fumble an INT. Cleveland’s offense is not top tier, but their defense is for the most part. I’m impressed with the

Ravens @ Bills: Who's to Blame?
I got a question for Ravens fans. Who are you going to blame now for continually falling apart in the 2nd half of football games? Playoffs or regular season? I get it, Lamar Jackson wasn’t playing again, but he misses games every year, and Tyler Huntley knows the offense. Derrick Henry had another slow game, totaling just 45 yards on 17 carries and 0 TDs. Huntley had 298 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. Zay Flowers had 137 yards on 8 catches for 1 TD. But their defense absolutely fell

Falcons @ Bucs: HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?
Atlanta! Wow! You knocked off, in my opinion, the best team in football! And, you made Brock Purdy look human for the first time all season! Michael Penix Jr. was playing his heart out, as he finished the game with 213 yards, 3 TDs, and no turnovers. Bijan Robinson had a day in which he was as effective out of the backfield running as he was receiving, finishing with 122 scrimmage yards. Penix hit 9 different pass catchers, including Kyle Pitts who had 5 catches for 22 yards

Cardinals @ Cowboys: Mirrors and Smoke
The Cardinals were hanging around this game against the Broncos for more than a full half of football. But, shortly into the second half of the game, the Broncos took control and surged ahead. The big problem this game for Arizona was their defense. They couldn’t stop Bo Nix, who has had a history of not being able to get the ball downfield. He had a couple nice throws deep, one to Marvin Mims specifically, but the chunk plays keep coming off short yardage attempts. RJ Harvey

Panthers @ Packers: Clean Out the Foliage
We are now 7 weeks into the season, and I can officially say the Carolina Panthers have finally played their first bad game. Even sitting at 3-3 now, this prior game vs. the Bucs was their worst game without a doubt. Carolina lost 43-13, but they only gave up 64 total passing yards. That is the craziest stat ever. And you may be asking, “how did they lose then?” Well, it’s because they gave up 258 yards on the ground. I repeat, 258 yards on the ground. While the number is sho

Cowboys @ Eagles: NFC LEAST
The NFC East meets again, and is anyone going to get a win?? Two weeks in a row for the NFC East not winning a game. This division is starting to look like the runt of the litter. The Cowboys got beat by their arch nemesis in the Packers, as they lost 23-13. Dak Prescott had another not great performance, finishing with 258 yards passing with 2 INTs and 1 TD. Green Bay led this game at halftime 17-0, and Dallas had to play catchup all game. They had 5 offensive drives in the

Chiefs @ Seahawks: Grudge Match
Coming off some bye week rest, the Chiefs lit up their division rivals. They beat the Chargers 22-6 in a game that left nothing to doubt. Credit to Kansas City for taking advantage of this terrible team. Patrick Mahomes had an OK game, ending with 272 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. But once again, Kenneth Walker led the charge. K9 finished with 19 carries for 128 yards and 2 TDs. Wild how consistently insane this guy has been all season. The Chiefs defense also forced two turnovers

Rams @ Raiders: Uneven Is the Path to Fame
The Rams took another step back last week. So far, the SB favorites for 2026 sit at just 2-4. They lost 18-16 to the Cardinals in disappointing fashion. This game was in reach for the entirety of the 60 mins, and the Rams were not able to bend the Cardinals defense. Stafford finished with 222 yards and 2 TDs, but their run game was largely ineffective and their only receiver with over 50 yards was Puka Nacua. He finished with 6 catches for 80 yards. It’s more shocking that LA

Packers @ Lions: On the Mend
The Cowboy Killer came in again and did their thing. Again. The Packers are now 8-1-1 against Dallas in the last 10 years. The Packers’ defense was on their game, and their offense was executing at a consistent level. Love finished with 276 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. While there was not much run game to speak of for Green Bay, Matthew Golden and Christian Watson combined for 9 catches for 168 yards and 1 TD. Watson and Golden also now become the first to WR pair this season to e

Broncos @ Cardinals: Magnetic Attraction
The Broncos are lucky the Seahawks offense faltered as badly as they did last game, because Denver is not too far behind on that offensive front. Bo Nix is still dealing with throwing the ball down the field. The Broncos currently have the 31st ranked offense in the NFL. They are 28th in the pass game and 26th in the run game. They are an absolute mess, and the only thing saving them is their all-star defense. Vance Joseph is saving Bo Nix. Nix finished the game with just 107

Bucs @ Panthers: Adjusted Sails
The Bucs fought the good fight against Pittsburgh this weekend. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay went home without their second win on the season, despite taking the Steelers to OT. The Bucs had two different leads of 13 points, both of which occurred in the second half of the game. Tampa Bay let the Steelers throw all over their defense and allowed 4 drives to result in points for Pittsburgh in the 4th quarter. The Steelers only had 4 drives in the 4th quarter… They just needed to s

49ers @ Falcons: The Horse Before the Cart
The 49ers won against Washington on Monday night, but not without a couple shivers. The Commanders put them against a wall in the second half of the game that the 49ers couldn’t get off of. They did a really good job containing Daniels in the extension of plays, and for the most part, on defense as a whole. But up 23-3 in the middle of the 3rd quarter, San Francisco started to let Washington back into the game. The 49ers couldn’t get off the field on defense and couldn’t sust

Dolphins @ Jets: Half In, Half Out
The Dolphins keep rolling as a completely defeated team, which is the opposite of an undefeated team. Good thing for them, is they are coming off a bye week and they get to play the Jets who have lost 2 of their last 3 games. The Dolphins don’t have much to write home about, or for me to write about them period. They don’t have a good offense, defense, and their roster isn’t very good. Jeff Hafley will probably be out of a HC job by this time next year and I’m assuming almost

Colts @ Vikings: Backwards-Leaning Forward Momentum
An abhorrent performance from Daniel Jones and the Colts this past Sunday. They let a winless Titans team come in and walk out with a victory. Daniel Jones had a terrible game. And while he did finish with 269 passing yards and 1 TD, he had 2 INTs and almost turned the ball over 16 times that game, (not a real number.) The Colts are slowly heading to blowing up the team, as they just fired their GM Chris Ballard a few days ago. I’m sure a HC change is coming, and then the tea

Browns @ Titans: Upside Down Week
The Browns almost had another Browns type loss this week, which would’ve made that two in a row for them. What I mean by that is that these past two weeks were very winnable games for Cleveland. They coughed one up against the Jets but avoided the same fate this week against the Ravens. In this tight divisional race, this was a game that they needed to win, and they did. Deshaun Watson did not have a great game, concluding with 164 yards on 16/26 throws, but had zero turnover

Bengals @ Ravens: Wipe Away the Ash of the Past
The Bengals are coming off a bye week after defeating the Dolphins in week 5 of the NFL season. Joe Burrow played well, finishing the game with 190 yards and 4 TDs. Not as much effect in the run game, but between Samaje Perine and Chase Brown, it was there enough. The Bengals defense even forced 3 turnovers. I get it, it’s the Dolphins, but still any time you can take the ball away that is a plus for your side. An overall good game from Cincy, I just don’t like how close they

Steelers @ Saints: Tying One Arm Behind Your Back
The Steelers aren’t making it easy on themselves, but they sit at 4-2, tied with the Browns and Ravens atop the AFC North. Who cares how you get there, because Pittsburgh keeps getting there. Aaron Rodgers helped lead a 12 play, 70-yard drive for a TD to put the Steelers up in OT, and then their defense closed it out. Rodgers ended the game with 253 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. Rico Dowdle was back and had 7 carries for 40 yards which is pretty good for his first game back in a f
