Cowboys @ Eagles: NFC LEAST

The NFC East meets again, and is anyone going to get a win?? Two weeks in a row for the NFC East not winning a game. This division is starting to look like the runt of the litter. The Cowboys got beat by their arch nemesis in the Packers, as they lost 23-13. Dak Prescott had another not great performance, finishing with 258 yards passing with 2 INTs and 1 TD. Green Bay led this game at halftime 17-0, and Dallas had to play catchup all game. They had 5 offensive drives in the second half, and only 2 of those resulted in points. Once again, when the Cowboys offense isn’t performing, their defense stands no chance of picking them off their feet. Because they are unbiasedly terrible on that end of the ball. The Cowboys also had 11 penalties for 108 yards, which is really an indication of this offense. They can’t get out of their own way, they are somewhat undisciplined, and they can’t turn it around when they turn the ball over. I do think they stand a better chance this week against a Tanner McKee led Eagles team. But, Saquon Barkley will most likely be back this week so there is another huge responsibility for this defense. It’s a toss-up, but I’ll take Dallas just because they have a stronger team. Undisciplined or not.

Philadelphia lost to the Panthers 25-14, but honestly, everyone saw this coming. Coming off the seriously terrible news about Jalen Hurts and his blood clots, Tanner McKee was given the reigns for this season. The Eagles trust McKee, he’s been a reliable backup for years, but now this is a different ballgame as a starter. McKee didn’t have a terrible game, finishing with 215 yards and 1 TD, but there wasn’t much outside of that. Outside of DeVonta Smith who was just coming back from injury, no one made a sincere difference. Smith concluded with 7 catches for 75 yards and 1 TD. What do the Eagles look like in the coming weeks? There are talks of cleaning out the team, remaining the same, and everything in between. As mentioned prior, they do get Barkley back this week, but is that going to be enough for them? That’s the million-dollar question. Give me the Cowboys in this close game.
