Chiefs @ Seahawks: Grudge Match

Coming off some bye week rest, the Chiefs lit up their division rivals. They beat the Chargers 22-6 in a game that left nothing to doubt. Credit to Kansas City for taking advantage of this terrible team. Patrick Mahomes had an OK game, ending with 272 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. But once again, Kenneth Walker led the charge. K9 finished with 19 carries for 128 yards and 2 TDs. Wild how consistently insane this guy has been all season. The Chiefs defense also forced two turnovers in the form of an INT and a fumble recovery. They now get the Seahawks, who have had some offensive missteps as of late, especially in the form of turnovers. On top of that, this is K9’s revenge game. The team that didn’t want to resign him after being the Super Bowl MVP. He may run for 200. I like the Chiefs here as they sit at 5-0.

The Seahawks had a rough defeat on Thursday Night Football. They lost to the Broncos 17-14, in a game where both teams did not play well. You were hoping to see Sam Darnold a little more poised and comfortable, but unfortunately, he keeps turning the ball over. Darnold finished with 278 passing yards on 27/51 passes, 2 INTs, and zero TDs. The Seahawks come back in the 4^th quarter and tie it up with a FG, but then Darnold throws an INT in OT to give the ball back to the Broncos. They would then drive down the field, kick a FG, and win. It’s nice that Seattle’s defense is on their game, but their offense is so far away from that point, it’s starting to become concerning. Like I said, give me the Chiefs in this matchup. Too many current mishaps from the Seahawks.
