Falcons @ Bucs: HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?

Atlanta! Wow! You knocked off, in my opinion, the best team in football! And, you made Brock Purdy look human for the first time all season! Michael Penix Jr. was playing his heart out, as he finished the game with 213 yards, 3 TDs, and no turnovers. Bijan Robinson had a day in which he was as effective out of the backfield running as he was receiving, finishing with 122 scrimmage yards. Penix hit 9 different pass catchers, including Kyle Pitts who had 5 catches for 22 yards and 1 TD. And most importantly, their defense showed out all game. They forced 2 INTs and recovered 2 fumbles, which was huge in turning the game towards the Falcons’ favor. Plus, the Falcons turned 3 of those 4 turnovers into points for their team, which cannot be understated. Huge congrats to Atlanta, as they now sit just one game behind the Panthers in the NFC South. I like Atlanta this week.

And how about Tampa Bay??? The absolute butt-whooping they put on the Panthers?? Sheeeeesh. The Bucs had an interesting game as we mentioned before. Only 64 passing yards from Baker, but they had 258 rushing yards and 3 TDs on the ground. Wow. The Bucs were forcing turnovers too, as they forced 2 INTs and 2 fumble recoveries. Just an all-around good game from Tampa Bay, even with the passing game faltering. They left no doubt. I don’t know how much of this will carry into next week when they take on the Falcons, but I believe this may have some impact. I do think this is going to be a potential upset, and while I already picked the Falcons, I believe in the Bucs to get a win this week. I just don’t think they will quite yet.
