Colts @ Vikings: Backwards-Leaning Forward Momentum

An abhorrent performance from Daniel Jones and the Colts this past Sunday. They let a winless Titans team come in and walk out with a victory. Daniel Jones had a terrible game. And while he did finish with 269 passing yards and 1 TD, he had 2 INTs and almost turned the ball over 16 times that game, (not a real number.) The Colts are slowly heading to blowing up the team, as they just fired their GM Chris Ballard a few days ago. I’m sure a HC change is coming, and then the team gets blown up. On the brink of that, they get to face an undefeated Vikings team coming off a bye week. Yes, the Vikings can’t score that much, but they sure as hell know how to prevent you from scoring on them. The Vikings lead the league in points allowed, giving up an average of just 12.8 points a game. I think I take the Vikings here, but I also feel in my gut this could be an upset.

The Vikings are refreshed and rejuvenated coming off the bye week and remain undefeated at 5-0. Kyler Murray had a good game going for 229 yards and 1 TD. Aaron Jones had 113 yards on 25 carries for 1 TD, and Justin Jefferson had 6 catches for 79 yards and 1 TD. It was nice to see Minnesota’s offense working, and while it was against one of the worst defenses in the league in the Saints, they still won by two scores. And that is just the second time for them this season. Brian Flores has his defense rocking, as they are 2nd in the league in total defense. Like I said before, I like the Vikings here, but this game screams upset for me. I think if the Vikings offense gets behind and their defense is not on their “A” game, they may be in trouble. It’s just who puts them in that position first. Again, I got the Colts, but I think there is a potential for an upset.
