The Broncos were really Bo Nix away from going to a Super Bowl. They were smoking the Pats if Nix is healthy. The 7th best defense in the league terrorized offenses, and then the 10th best offense cleaned up. I was a Bo Nix hater when he was in college, but I guess all those years of extra reps actually paid off. They face a new look KC team with a healthy Pat Mahomes and a newly appointed SB MVP Kenneth Walker III. Still the same defense too, minus a couple faces. But that Vance Jospeh scheme works with basically anyone. I actually like the Broncos in Week 1, only because I feel like Mahomes is still got some work before he’s back to feeling 100% like himself.

Speaking of KC, I know a lot of NFL fans were happy the Chiefs were nowhere near the playoffs last season. They finished 6-11, losing 7 of their last 8 games. Super not what we are used to. If the Chiefs are back to their normal dominance, I expect to see them come January. But I don’t have a crystal ball last time I checked. Which was just now. If this team can stay healthy and out of jail, (sorry Rashee), they can go anywhere they want. They had the 10th best defense last year, but it was the bottom half offense we were not accustomed to seeing. I would expect the Chiefs to come out hot and try and nullify this Denver defense. I think it may be too much for KC this week, but in the following weeks, good luck.
