         Holy SNF. Giants and Cowboys. Are the Giants going to get blown out by 40 again? History is on Dallas’ side, and they love beating up on this team from NY. The Cowboys didn’t do a whole lot in the off-season besides bolstering their D-Line and secondary. Specifically at safety with rookie Caleb Downs. Hopefully, his presence will help the Cowboys do better in pass defense. They gave up, on average, 251 passing yards a game. Brutality. But Dak and his offense always gets going early. They know how to beat bad teams most of the time, so if there’s any blood in the water from the NYG, they will smell it and attack. I’m looking for the Cowboys to try and shut down the Giants offensively, in the run and pass. If they can do that, the game is essentially theirs.

         Let’s slow down Will. This is a different Giants team. They still haven’t proven anything, but I don’t think they will lose 40-0 again. Under new HC John Harbaugh, the Giants have an invigorated sense of culture and direction. They have one of the best D-Lines in football, a pair of great LBs, and an offense looking to be cut loose. There is a lot of positive sound around East Rutherford, NJ, and I’m not sure what to believe quite yet. If the Giants can beat the Cowboys, I think the sky’s the limit for this team. There will be some growing pains and miscommunications, which is bound to happen with a new regime. But, if they can kickstart this team in Week 1, be careful of the Giants. Hopefully, this is not the same team of the past. I think the Giants upset the Cowboys on this one. Too much drive for this team at the moment.
