Titans @ Ravens: Writing on the Wall

The Titans had this game in the bag in the 4th quarter. They chased the Giants down from a 12-point lead, and what did Cam Ward do? Forced the ball into the endzone that was promptly picked by Jevon Holland. In the redzone. On FIRST DOWN. Poor, poor QB play to be honest. As I said earlier this week, if the Giants don’t have Jevon Holland, the Titans win this game. Ward finished with 181 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT, but the bulk of those yards and TDs came in the 4th quarter. Tennessee once again couldn’t find their footing until the 4th quarter, which is too little, too late. If they want to win a game, they need to play like they did against the Eagles. Score early and let you defense make some plays to keep you in it. But they get the Ravens this week, so good luck dealing with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.

I literally almost forgot to write out this paragraph because in my mind, the Ravens already won. The Ravens clutched out a win against Dallas, in a game where most people thought Dallas could pull one out. The Cowboys only led one time throughout the game too, but they managed to stay in striking distance. But the Cowboys did Cowboys things, and their defense gave it all away in 7 secs of game time. A perfectly executed pass, and a perfectly executed timeout. And that was all it took for Baltimore. Lamar only had 2 TDs for 186 yards, so not even a prolific game from Jackson. Derick Henry got into the endzone twice, and it should’ve been 3 times in all honesty. I expect the Ravens to roll through the Titans.
