Jets @ Bears: No Prescription Needed Here

Another really great week from the Jets. Gang Green, stand up! Again! Would you believe me if I told you the Jets led the Lions through almost all 3 quarters? It wouldn’t matter, because it’s true. Geno Smith is just continually having good games, finishing with 321 passing yards and 3 TDs. Their run game was basically ineffective, and yet New York still found a way to get it done. Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq both had over 100+ receiving yards and a TD. Still no INTs for the Jets, but they competed against the Lions for a whole game. After three weeks of this, if you can’t see the Jets are a different team, you may need a new prescription. I like them to compete against this Bears team, but beat this Ben Johnson scheme? I am not entirely hopeful.

I also did not have the Bears beating the Eagles by 20 points. The Eagles’ defense was just letting everything go. They let 38-year-old Case Keenum, who hadn’t played since 2024, throw for 247 yards on 24/34 passing, and 2 TDs. WITH ZERO TURNOVERS. He even QB sneaked one for a TD himself. Embarrassing. Ben Johnson has proved his scheme is bullet-proof. He can take an almost 40-year-old QB and make him productive in his system. Very impressive stuff. I like their odds against a weaker Jets team than the Eagles. But at this point, the Jets are showing they can play with anyone. Give me the Bears, but it’ll be close.
