While the Steelers were never winning this game by a huge margin, they still felt in control the entire way against the Colts. Aaron Rodgers threw for 235 yards and 3 TDs on 22/31 pass attempts. Their defense held the Colts to just one TD and 5 FGs. That’s still a lot of points on FGs, but it’s better than giving up 5 TDs. But the real hero of the game was Jaylen Warren. Warren led all Steelers rushers and receivers in stats this game. Warren went for 101 yards on the ground and 1 TD on 15 attempts. Warren also had 87 yards on 6 receptions and had a receiving TD. I think we know who the RB1 is in Pittsburgh. This is a game and an outcome the Steelers will be proud of. No scraping by, just a certain victory. Look for them to continue to find their footing against the Bucs this week.

HOW ABOUT JALON DANIELS. By no stretch of the imagination was his stat line out of this world, but he did what he needed to do to help Tampa Bay get their first win. Against the Cowboys nonetheless, who were giving the Eagles grief for losing to Case Keenum. Life comes at you fast… Anyways, Daniels had 189 yards on 19/25 attempts and 1 TD. Zero turnovers for the undrafted rookie out of Kansas, and that was probably the biggest stat in this game. Well, maybe next to the 2 INTs and 1 fumble recovery they had. The Bucs finally got that win, and it was against a fairly decent opponent. I’m not sure if we are going to see the same kind of magic out of Daniels this week, but a win tends to cure all ailments. And the Bucs had some ailments. I think this game is close, but I still like the Steelers.
