Kind of a silly game, not much going on in this matchup. Just playing for a draft spot. Both of these teams sit at 3-12, but there are definite bragging rights on the line between these division rivals. The Titans currently lead this overall matchup with a record of 35-25, and since the Jaguars won this matchup earlier in the year, the Titans will want to even the score before the season ends. Tennessee has been using Mason Rudolph at QB, and while he has had some nice production on offense, he still turns the ball over almost as much as Will Levis. They are going to need to find some firm footing on offense, as well as defense, if they want to best the Jaguars this week. They’ve found some success with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, as well as Calvin Ridley, but they’re going to need a full effort.

The Jaguars are an equal mess. They have a lot of injuries, can’t win football games, and are just having a bad season. No Trevor Lawrence obviously, but they have the worst defense in the league and the 7th worst offense in the league. Mac Jones isn’t the best choice at backup, but sometimes you have to ride with what you got. Another one of those, “going to need a full performance” type of descriptions for Jacksonville. May the better bad team win this week.

POSTGAME:

Jacksonville should just start referring to Brian Thomas Jr. as The Great Eraser, because he makes everyone forget how bad the Jaguars are. The Jaguars won 20-13, but in all honesty, I’m not sure who really cared outside of fans of these respective organizations. But everyone loves to see Thomas have a good game. He is a huge bright spot on this team that needs to be continuously utilized this year and next. He ended up finishing the game with 91 yards and 1 TD, which led the team again. He’s another rookie who has eclipsed 1,000+ yards receiving, (Malik Nabers and Brock Bowers are the other two), and he did it in on a bad team. Hopefully, Jacksonville can figure it out next year, because they have talent on their roster. Can’t say the same for Tennessee, who has some talent, but they are missing a lot.
