Ravens @ Cowboys: The Bread and Circus Show

Baltimore had a tough outing against New Orleans last week. They had a 14-3 lead at one point, but that all went up in smoke come the second half. The Ravens kicked a FG in the early 3^rd quarter, and didn’t score for the rest of the game. Not a bad game offensively for Baltimore; Lamar finished with 235 yards in the air and a TD and INT a piece. Derrick Henry had 68 yards on the ground and 1 TD. I just think the Saints came to play and are a better team than people wanted to admit. Now they get to play Dallas. Luckily, the Ravens are 2-0 against the Cowboys since 2020. I’d say the Ravens will have an offensive focus this week. They’re not going to throw away defense, but getting ahead of the Cowboys early will certainly help.

         The Cowboys had an impressive game last week. Dak Prescott came out firing to CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. He came out hitting everyone, as he finished the game going for 279 yards and 4 TDs on 26/31 passing. Lamb ended the game with 153 yards and 2 TDs. Pickens and Jake Ferguson each had 40+ yards on at least 4 catches each. They blew Washington out early. They led 30-13 early in the 4^th quarter. Again, they kind of let Washington come back to striking distance, but it was too late at that point. If I’m Dallas, I’m not letting the Ravens go buck-wild on offense. Easier said than done, but that would be my plan. I like Baltimore here, but this game between these two teams always brings entertainment and competition.
