Raiders @ Saints: Freedom is Being You

The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-0. I repeat, the Las Vegas Raiders are 2-0. They made a bad Chargers team look even worse as they won the game by almost double the Chargers’ score. Kirk Cousins has clearly found something, as this is the second week where Cousins has thrown for 3 TDs in a game. He finished against the Chargers with 253 passing yards on 19/29 passes to go along with those TDs. Only 1 INT too. I like how the Raiders have beaten both Miami and LAC. Yes, they had to claw and scratch a little for the victory, but upon taking the lead in the 4^th, the Raiders didn’t give their opponents a chance to breathe. That safety in the 4^th quarter REALLY helped. I think they may have a tougher time against the Saints, who seem to be the real deal, but I do not think this game will be a blowout.

         Tyler Shough and the Saints just keep dancing. They are happy being themselves while we all sit in the metaphorical corner and wish we could be as free as this team. The Saints had very little expectations coming into this season. Sure, they lost a close one to the Lions, but most people felt the same way after that game. And that was that the Saints should’ve won. Then, we move to Baltimore, in a game where most people said the Ravens would have their way with this team. Wrong again. The Saints now get an easier opponent in the Raiders this week, but they aren’t going to lie down and take it. I like the Saints this week as they continue to trend upward and have a better roster now. But like I said, that Autumn Wind is coming.
