I’ll be the first one to admit it. I was not prepared for what the Bears had in store last year. They finished the season 11-6 and made it through the first round of the playoffs against the Packers, but fell short against the Rams. Caleb Williams became what everyone believed was in him. A Bonafide leader and a QB with severe arm talent. Williams finished last year with just under 4k yards passing, 27 TDs in the air, and only 7 INTs. That is called growth C.J Stroud. Painted nails aside, Caleb Williams has that dog in him, and he put everyone on notice. Chicago finished 3rd in total offense but finished 29th in defense. The Windy City will need some defenses of their past to come to play this year if they want to make a deeper run. And they upgraded their defensive depth chart, so the first foot of this season is on the right path. I like them handling Carolina in Week 1.

Where are my supporters of Carolina?? If you followed along last season, you’ll know how I felt about Bryce Young. Teetering on the edge of success, and he’s getting ready to fall off that cliff. That Panthers just scraped by into the playoffs last year, but were taken out by the Rams in the Wild Card. They had a pretty good off-season, but I believe this team is looking for Young to step up. Be the leader and playmaker they believe him to be. He threw for just over 3k yards last season, with 23 TDs and 11 INTs. This team needs an identity, and I believe if Young can find himself, the Panthers can compete in a weaker NFC South.
