The Eagles have just shut everyone up. Probably for good unless they find a way to mess it up. After a beyond convincing win against the Steelers via PASSING GAME, the Eagles look to roll through their second-place division rival. Jalen Hurts was exceptional. Just simply off the charts. He had 290 yards passing and 2 TDs, going 25/32 on the day. Their receiving core had an absolute field day, as A.J Brown and DeVonta Smith both had over 100 yards receiving and led the way to their victory. I was begging for them to do it, and they looked at me and said, “aight.” Called my bluff. Anyways, they dominated on both fronts and will head into this game looking to do the same thing. With the Lions losing last week, and the Vikings looking like they will win against the Bears, (it’s currently on TV and is 27-6 with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter), the #1 seed in the NFC will be tied between three NFC teams. Quite an exciting race we have heating up here! Just come play the game you know, let Hurts continue to pass and be effective doing so, play good defense like you have been, and this game will be theirs.
The Commanders did what they were supposed to last week, and while it was much closer than they would’ve wanted and only won because of a failed two-point conversion from the Saints, they won. That’s what’s important. Jayden Daniels played fantastic, going 25/31 with 226 yards and 2 TDs. He also had 66 yards on the ground, which led the team this game. He can really do it all, and he showed it again, but considering they are a 7th seed in the playoff right now, they need to pick it up a little bit. Seattle is right behind them at 8-6, (Washington is 9-5), so their backs are against the wall here. It is a tough ask for the Commanders, who will probably not win this game, but there is some comfort, as the Seahawks will face the 11-2, (12-2 if they beat the Bears in 5 mins), Vikings who are no pushover. It will be tough for Washington, but they came close earlier this year against the Eagles, as they fell short 26-18. I don’t think it’ll be as close for them this week, the Eagles are too damn good.
