Eagles @ Jags: Only YOU Can Prevent Bad Offense

What are we going to do with this Philly team? A.J Brown is gone, and yet, there is STILL internal issues within that team. OC Sean Mannion did not speak to the team or media and left the stadium 10 mins after the game. Reports were that he, “stormed out.” Yikesssssss. On top of that, Lane Johnson retired. A huge piece of your OL is now gone, and he was most certainly the senior anchor. The craziest part is the Eagles had a chance to score inside the LAR 5-yard line. They go 4 and out instead of kicking the FG and going up 13 points. The Rams then lead a 10 play, 98-yard drive for a TD. The Eagles then go 3 and out, and the Rams go 79 yards on 10 plays for another TD. Wow. The Eagles go 4 and out again trying to come back from a then 4-point deficit. With guys like Brown gone, DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley out with injury, and a major OL piece retiring, things are not looking good for the Eagles. And it keeps getting worse week after week.

Jacksonville found their path again. They dismantled the Pats the week before on offense, and this week, their defense helps secure a victory against Cincinnati. Cincy’s defense reared it’s normally ugly ahead around again, and the Jags took advantage. Trevor Lawrence finished the game with 227 yards and 1 TD. Their run game eclipsed 110 yards and found their way into the endzone once as well. And their defense came to help too. Two INTs helped put more points on the board and take away the ball form Joe Burrow. When this Jags team plays three phases of football, they usually win games. And this game was no exception. I’ll take Jacksonville abroad.
