Cowboys @ Colts: Answer-less Problems
At this juncture, I think the appropriate question for Dallas would be, “what is it going to take to get you to not be bad?” Clearly being up 2 scores isn’t enough, or that their specific lead was present in the 4th quarter. What is it going to take for the Dallas defense to not blow a game away? We saw it earlier with the Ravens, and now the Cardinals come to town and ruin the fun. Even with that lead, no one on the Cowboys was playing out of their mind. Dak finished with just 195 yards and 1 TD, their ground game had just 93 yards, and their leading receiver had just 58 yards. This is a clear coaching problem. Dallas is undisciplined on offense and defense, as they are the 10th most penalized team in the league. I don’t even know where to begin or end with this team. They should be better than they are, but they aren’t. And that about sums it up. I will take them against the Colts, however.
Another beatdown against the Colts. They once again had nothing going this game. Daniel Jones threw for 144 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs. Jonathan Taylor had just 23 yards on 8 carries, and their WRs were pretty ineffective. There won’t be much to write about the Colts until they find it within themselves to make a change. Because all their good players are going, and nothing is stopping that. All that is left is those on the team, and I hope they want to win. It sure doesn’t look like it though. There is a chance because it’s the Cowboys, but I don’t think the Colts stand much of a chance this game.
