And just like that, the Chiefs now have a loss on their record. Huge credit to the Seahawks defense, who was getting after Patrick Mahomes all game. They were absolutely flying and him and I love that. That’s old school. Mahomes had a rough night all around, finishing with just 165 yards and 1 INT. Even Kenneth Walker was stifled in his homecoming, as he had just 14 carries for 34 yards. That Super Bowl defense came to play. I will say, the Chiefs need some WRs badly. Their leading pass-catcher was Noah Gray with 3 catches for 44 yards. It won’t always be like that, but as of late, it’s been more like this than not. The Chiefs with a true WR1 is a scary team. But, they have done it without one thus far, I just wonder if that starts to hinder their offensive production. I do like the Chiefs against the Broncos this week, but let’s hope Kansas City had a different offensive gameplan against this defense than they did with the Seahawks.

The Broncos handled the Cardinals last week. And they should, they are a much better team than the Cardinals. The Broncos even got their offense rolling, with a Bo Nix 62 yards TD run and a RJ Harvey 52-yard screen for a TD. Once again, not a lot of distance from Nix in the passing game, but hey, it’s still working. And your defense, without Patrick Surtain II I may add, is rifling teams. The Broncos lost once already to the Chiefs in Week 1, so they will be looking for their own get back. But beating the Chiefs is tough, so their offense must be on par with their defense. Or lead with defense, and finish on offense. Either or. I did say the Chiefs, but this is yet another divisional matchup this week, so I think the Broncos keep it close. But I still got the Chiefs.
