Chargers @ Rams: Racing to Different Ends
I don’t have much to say about the Chargers anymore until they win a game. So, this analysis will be quicker. Luckily, they just came off a bye so they will be nice and rested to get smoked by the Rams. They lost to the Chiefs in Week 6, (no shocker there), 22-6. Just a completely non-competitive game once again from Los Angeles. Justin Herbert was terrible, as he had another 200+ yard game with no TDs. Their run game totaled to 73 yards, and their receivers are ineffective. Their defense gets washed every week, and they can’t do anything to change that right now. Hopefully, this bye week inspired them to be different. I’m still taking the Rams though.
Finally, we are back to a real football team in the Rams. The Rams had a nice game after losing two straight. They took some of that anger out on the Raiders, as Matthew Stafford set the TD record for the Rams in this game. He finished with just 197 yards, but 3 TDs and 1 INT. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 33 carries and 192 yards and 2 TDs. That’s a run game. Quieter day for Puka, who had just 68 yards and 1 TD on 8 catches, but I think the Rams were just happy to win this game. They sit at 3-4 and have some work to do in their division. They will take another step forward as they beat this Chargers this upcoming week.
