Cardinals @ Seahawks: The Rule of Opposites

HOW BOUT DEM CARDINALS. Gardner Minshew and the Cardinals mounted an impressive comeback versus the Cowboys last week. Jacoby Brissett was benched after just hitting 119 yards and 1 INT through almost the full 3rd quarter. Minshew would come in and in 2 plays, the Cardinals would score on a 63-yard Tyler Allgeier TD. The craziest thing is that Minshew led three more drives before OT, all resulting in TDs and tying the game. They would’ve won in regulation if their kicker made the XP.  Minshew was throwing laser to Michael Wilson on that last drive, and they were beautiful throws through and through. This game is going to instill so much confidence in this Arizona team. Plus, they made the switch to Minshew and traded Brissett to the Ravens. This was a huge game before their divisional matchup against the Seahawks.

Consequently, the Seahawks had a rough outing against the Bears last week. Another week in which Sam Darnold did not look like himself, as he finished with just 188 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. The Bears are for real, and I think any team that comes up against them is going to have to deal with this kind of result. But outside, JSN, who had 6 catches for 118 yards and 1 TD, no one could get going for Seattle. Their run game had another bad game, as their three RBs combined for 61 yards on 17 carries. I think they miss Kenneth Walker. This was coming off a game in which they absolutely stuffed the Chiefs, so I’m a little unsure of the trajectory of this team. I like the Cardinals for an upset, but the most likely outcome is a Seahawks win.
