Rams @ Commanders: Ever-Changing Fixtures

The Rams did what they were supposed to do, and that was beat up on a bad Chargers team. If the Rams were really in their groove, they would’ve won this game by 40+ points. The LA defense forced 2 INTs on Justin Herbert, which according to Quentin Lake, was not hard at all. They were expecting it. That’s beyond embarrassing if you’re a member of the Chargers. But Stafford and the boys rode this one all the way to the end, as he ended with 157 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. Not a great game for Stafford, but enough to get it done. Their RB committee had a day, as Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 27 carries for 129 yards and 1 TD a piece. And of course, Puka had 11 catches for 80 yards and 1 TD. Classic. Good job on the Rams, but I think almost everyone saw this coming. I foresee another win in the nation’s capital against the Commanders.

The Commanders came off the bye week and took care of business against the Eagles. The game was within one score all the way until midway through the 4th quarter, but the Commanders pulled through with a late TD and FG to extend their lead. JD5 had a pretty good day, as he finished hitting 16/29 passes for 217 yards and 1 TD. Shoutout Treylon Burks, who had a great game and concluded with 3 catches for 81 yards. Just a pretty good game from Washington, despite one fumble they lost, it was somewhat seamless. Washington isn’t that great, which is why the game was close for so long, but I don’t think they will experience that kind of game this week against the Rams.
