Lions @ Dolphins: Going Through the Motions

How about Detroit handing Minnesota their first loss of the year?? I knew it would be them. The Vikings took them all the way to the end, so a credit to them. They had a good day on offense. But the Lions had a better day, as they typically do for the #1 ranked offense in the league. Jared Goff only had 176 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT, but the Lions playmakers helped him out. Between Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams, the Lions had enough production from just those two to win the game. And how about the defense? I have to give them credit to for forcing a turnover against a Vikings team with a +7-turnover differential. Everything helps. Credit to the Lions for having a full game against the last undefeated team in the league. Or should I say, previously undefeated. I like the Lions against the Dolphins this week. Also, big prayers up to Jack Campbell. Thinking of you 4-6.

While the Dolphins are pretty much a dead-end team, they did put up a great fight against their division rivals in the Patriots. Malik Willis threw for 211 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. Miami even led this game by 10 points in the 3^rdquarter, they just aren’t good enough YET to hold that lead. There was no real ground threat from the Dolphins, and their WRs and pass-catchers weren’t standing out. But Miami forced a turnover and kept this game close until the end, but a few late failed drives that didn’t turn into points kept them at bay until the clock hit 00:00. This was a great game for the future of Miami, it wasn’t a win, but they are still competing and not getting blown out of every single game. But they may return to that this week against the Lions.
