Opposites of the Spectrum

I’d be going ballistic if I was a Panthers fan. For all the right reasons though. Sort of. Let me explain. Carolina has been down in the dumps since Cam Newton left this team. Sorry, that’s just the way it’s been. With the addition of Bryce Young, there was hope, but nothing had matriculated yet. Until now. What the Panthers did against a pretty much proven Chicago team, is something to be proud of. They put up 37 points, 478 yards of total offense, and forced an INT from Caleb Williams. That is a performance against, I’d say, a great team. The good news in all of this is now they get to play an injury riddled Falcons team, which they should have zero trouble with. Carolina, unite. Your time is on its way.

         The Falcons are in a rough spot and it’s only Week 2. As we mentioned last week, there is not a lot to be proud of on the QB front. Cooper Rush had a rough game last week, going 12/22 with 143 yards passing, 1 TD, and 2 INTs. Bijan Robinson of course carried this offense. A monster Week 1 performance, as he finished with 83 yards rushing on 21 attempts, and 90 yards receiving on 8 catches and a TD. But that is the problem. Without Bijan’s efforts, this team is dead and buried. Things may change in ATL when Tua comes back, or Michael Penix comes in, or they sell the whole team. I don’t know. But Stefanski went from a bad Browns team to a bad Falcons team. Not much hope for them against the Panthers.
