Get Right, Stay Wrong

I would be lying if I told you I was never wrong. That would not be true. Allow me to take my first L of the year. The worst team in the league will be the Browns. If Deshaun Watson is playing like that, and this is him “showing the league he can still play at a high level,” might be time to blind yourselves Browns fans. He threw one of the worst picks I’ve seen in a while in the first drive of his season. Right into the LB dropping into coverage, like he was throwing right to him. Would have probably not even made it to the WR in the deeper level. Watson finished the game going 16/22 with 205 yards passing, 1 TD, and 1 INT. That stat line is way better than Watson played. It honestly may be time to hang it up as the kids say. I will say, the Browns rookie WRs looked good, as Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion combined for 102 yards receiving on 6 receptions. Boston even had a TD. That being said, there is not a lot of hope with the Browns this year. Shedeur Sanders will be starting next week, and while I don’t love him as a QB, he’s basically going out there as the sacrificial lamb.

         The Bucs started a lot rougher than I think most people were willing to admit. The ball must’ve been covered in baby oil, because those 4 fumbles basically ended the game before it began. Tampa Bay did a nice job coming back against a terrible Cincy defense, but alas, it was a little too late. Baker finished ok, going 23/28, 216 yards and 1 rushing TD. The Bucs defense gave up way too much though, allowing points on 6 of 7 Bengal drives. You can thank Josiah Trotter Jr., as he ripped of a pick-6 and helped the Bucs back into the game. But the defense will need tightening. Luckily, they play a bad offensive team in the Browns. I expect the Bucs to get very right in this game.
