Lions @ Cardinals: Put the Ugly Behind

The Lions came up against the Panthers on Sunday night and did not look prepared for what was about to happen. Bryce Young threw for 329 yards and 2 TDs, both of which went to Tet McMillan. McMillan finished with 192 yards on 14 catches with those two TDs. The Lions once again got behind in a game in which their offense was unable to bring them back. Jahmyr Gibbs only had 46 rush yards and 1 TD. The Lions also have the worst defense in the league statistically, allowing over 400 yards a game! The offense isn’t a problem, though it was last week. It’s their defense that needs some sincere tightening. They get a pass heavy offense in the Cardinals this week. I still like the Lions though.

Arizona had a stuffy game against the Giants. They were unable to throw the ball as effectively as they have in past games. Jacoby Brissett only went for 166 yards, 2 TDs, and 3 INTs. The Giants’ defense was all over the Cardinals, and it showed on the stat sheet. Arizona only had 123 yards on the ground on 26 carries and just one TD. Give some credit to the Giants pass rush, as they finally got home and rushed Brissett through his reads. He looked uncomfortable all game. As they turn their attention to Detroit, they need to try and attack this bad defense. The Cardinals need to find their playmakers early and not go down to a team that loves to run it up.
