Bills @ Rams: Opposites Attract
The Bills almost finished last week’s game with a win. But alas, a Josh Allen INT ends the game. Not typically what Bills fans are used to, but the ebbs and flows of the season spares no one. Allen had good game too, throwing for 253 yards for 1 TD and the INT. James Cook, Allen, and Keon Coleman all found the endzone, but their defense took their foot off the gas which allowed New England to come back. Buffalo currently has the 27th ranked defense in the league, and it has been showing. They’ve allowed all their opponents this season to score 29 points or more except the Chargers, (shocker), who put up just 16. As they take on the 2nd best offense and 2nd best defense in the Rams this week, the Bills need to be on their Ps and Qs. Any mistakes here may cost them the games, so limit the turnovers and be effective on defense.
How about the Rams comeback win against the Eagles? Philly let another one slip, and Los Angeles took advantage. Stafford had a shaky start to the game, as he went into halftime with 2 INTs. He had no TDs this game, but he did have 317 yards in the air on 32/51 passes. Kyren Williams found the endzone twice, as he finished with 80 yards on 15 carries. The Rams currently sit at 2-2 which is 3rd in their division. They need to win this game as the 49ers have been lengthening the gap at 4-0. I think the Rams are starting to find themselves, if they were ever truly lost, and some wins will be around the corner. This game is tough, as both teams are going to test each other on offense and defense. I like the Rams now that they have Puka back, but the Bills have that potential to fire back on offense, even if their defense is not up to snuff.
