Jags @ Ravens: Two Sides of a Scale

Just pure domination from Jacksonville last week. Like a freshly dusted house, they were clean. They did play the Colts, so no huge victories there, but they handled a game they were supposed to handle. Trevor Lawrence didn’t even throw the ball that much this game, as he finished with 210 yards and 3 TDs on just 10/14 passes. Only 3 Jags pass-catchers had more than 1 reception, which is crazy. That was Brenton Strange and Tuten who combined for 5 catches for 110 yards and 1 TD. The Jags were even more effective in the run game, as they ended the game with 183 rush yards and 2 TDs. I expected this kind of win against the Colts, as the Jags defense forced 2 INTs and 1 forced fumble. I think they can have a similar result against the Ravens.

Oof, the Ravens season is starting to look like it's headed down the drain. Lamar Jackson was finally back from injury, all to get hurt on the VERY FIRST PLAY     and he came out immediately after. He needs surgery on his thumb, will be put on IR, and while it’s not confirmed, it’s believed Jackson’s season is done. There have also been trade talks for Derrick Henry swirling, but that could all be smoke and mirrors. But back to the game, the Bills just cruised once Lamar was gone. Their run offense was abysmal, their passing game was non-existent, and their defense continually gets blasted out the stadium. They will have rookie Joe Fagnano starting at QB this week, so I think the Jags most likely take this one with ease.
