Cowboys @ Packers: Critical Moves

The Cowboys entire defense strikes again! The entire Cowboys team must’ve thought it was the playoffs the way they choked against a team they should’ve beaten. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels had a night at the expense of Dallas. Dallas bad all over the field and in every phase of the game. Dak Prescott completely regressed this game, as he was unable to bring the Cowboys back into contention. His INT on the Cowboys’ final drive of the game put a nail in it. He had another INT too, as well as a fumble from KaVontae Turpin. The Cowboys couldn’t stop turning the ball over, and Tampa Bay capitalized. The knock-on Dallas is always their defense, and it’s usually the offense that saves them. Dak had 316 yards and 1 TD in this game. Pickens had 130 yards and a TD. But their offense wasn’t even close to top form and their defense did what they always do. Give up points. They better hope the Packers didn’t come to play like they did last week against the Bears.

The Packers finally got their first decisive victory of the season. While it did come against two backups, beating the Bears will always feel good for Green Bay fans and their team. The 8^th ranked Packer defense came to play, as they forced 5 turnovers during this game. 3 INTs and 2 fumbles. To couple with that, Jordan Love went 25/31 for 367 yards and 2 TDs. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden each had 100+ receiving yards, and MarShawn Lloyd had 2 TDs on the day. It was good to see the Packers have a good game, because even their past wins before this one barely felt like wins. It doesn’t sound like Micah Parsons will be playing his former team as he still works back from injury, but I’m not sure if it even matters. I think the Cowboys decisively lose this game. That loss to the Bucs is the type that stays with you, especially after being called a “Super Bowl bound team” earlier in the season. Cowboys players and staff need to stop talking and focus on beating a backup QB. They didn’t do that, and now they get an even more real opponent in Green Bay.
