Chargers @ Chiefs: Drop the Bomb

Where oh where do I begin with this Chargers team again. Nothing new has happened since the last time we spoke, except the Chargers seemingly got worse. Justin Herbert is a mess, as he threw for just 121 yards on 14/24 throws for 1 TD and 1 INT. Can’t forget the two fumbles he had either, of which one was recovered. And then, Herbert drives down the field with no timeouts left and takes a sack to end the game. No endzone ball, just a sack. It was sad, but now it’s just embarrassing. There is really no answer on either side of the ball. They have no safety on offense or defense, so they are getting killed no matter what group is out there. The thing that is wild is that this game was within one score for most of the game. But the Chargers continue to Charger, as they lose game after game. Guess what’s going to happen come this week when they roll into KC? I don’t even have to say it.

The Chiefs are coming off the bye week after fending off the Raiders in a close shootout in Week 4. Mahomes had a great game, going for 225 yards and 2 TDs on 15/30 passes. Kenneth Walker had another huge game, which makes me beg the question, why did the Seahawks not want to pay him?? The guy ran for 177 yards on 22 carries for 2 TDs. He sits just 43 yards behind Bijan Robinson Jr. on RB yardage leaders this year, and he just sat out a week for the bye… Averaging 6.2 yards a carry on just 87 attempts all season. He’s playing at a ridiculous level. The Chiefs defense also forced two turnovers, which led to points and the end of the game. People hate it, but the Chiefs are still doing their thing when they are healthy. And they will continue to do so as the Chargers come to town.
