Chargers @ Seahawks: Stunners and the Stunted

The Chargers had every right to win this game. The Bills turned the ball over 5 different times this game. Josh Allen was more ineffective than we are used to seeing through a lot of the first half of this game. But the Chargers defense was still ineffective in stopping this insane offense. The Chargers had a lead at the end of the first quarter too, they were up 10-0. Then, were tied 10-10 at halftime. And they still couldn’t close it out. Herbert had a better day throwing for 226 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. Omarion Hampton didn’t fumble again, so I guess that’s something. I won’t really know what to say if the Chargers pull up to Seattle and showcase a similar game to the ones we’ve seen in past weeks. Maybe can the whole team, I truly don’t know. It’s going to be tough to beat this Seahawks team, but Sam Darnold was clearly human last week, so maybe there’s a chance. I doubt it though.

Not the return Sam Darnold was hoping for after being injured since early in the game during Week 1. He would eventually level out and throw for 4 TDs on 370 yards, but not before he threw two picks, one being a pick-6. Something needs to change with their run game, and that starts with Jadarian Price. You drafted him after letting Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker leave. As of right now, Kenneth Walker is a top 3 RB in the league, and Jadarian Price is splitting carries with George Holani and Emmanuel Wilson. It doesn’t make sense. JSN did JSN things. Again. He finished with 128 yards on 10 catches for 2 TDs. Best WR in football. Seattle was able to make it a game in the 4^th quarter but were unable to get the ball back on the final Washington drive. The Seahawks still haven’t shown that SB caliber performance yet, but I think Darnold being out didn’t help even though Drew Lock was slinging. I like SEA this week, but they need to fix some of their defensive and run game issues against this terrible Chargers team.
