The Opposite Ends of Struggle

Another team I’ll take an L on, is the Cincinnati Bengals! I mean, I have zero faith in the Texans, so not as big of an L. But did I think the Bengals were going to drop 20 points and hold the Texans to 6 points? Hell no. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase did their thing for sure, connecting on 2 TDs. One of which was a ridiculous pirouette from Chase. But I can’t get over the defense. Again, the Texans are bad, but this Bengals defense is BAD. But lo and behold, they made their impact on Sunday. If they can keep their defense rolling, they will win against a struggling Pittsburgh team. Can’t believe the Bengals might go 3-0 to start the season.

The Steel curtain has been anything but that this season. The Steelers put up a whopping 3 points against the Patriots. Aaron Rodgers had multiple fumbles and an INT. D.K Metcalf had at least 3 drops, and their run game yielded just 93 yards on 6 different rushers. The Pats scored one of their two TDs on a 39-yard TD from TreVeyon Henderson, who was back healthy this week. This is to highlight that the Steelers couldn’t stop a team of 4th graders last week. The Steelers need this game against Cincy, and it needs to be competitive for their sake. Week 1 they, (BARELY), beat the Falcons by 7, and Week 2 they’re nonexistent. This is the perfect game to show your stuff. I’m talking 60 mins of football. Not 20 mins, or 45 mins, 60 mins. If not, Rodgers may be riding his final season into the dirt. Give me the Bengals.
