Revised Goals

I honestly am here taking my second “L” of the season. Where did this Titans team come from?? Yes, they blew the game in the end which is very Titan-like, but they held strong against a good Philly team. Cam Ward looked better, going 13/20 with 183 passing yards. No TDs or rushing TDs for Ward, but no TOs which is a step in the right direction. Tony Pollard got off the ground a little bit, finishing with 64 yards rushing on 14 attempts. Offensively, Tennessee inched in the right direction. Defensively, they kind of stood still. But after the cascade of injuries the Giants just took, the Titans may be looking to steal one away in MetLife.

         Wow, it’s terrible being a Giants fan. Can’t have anything nice. After one week of what most fans assumed would be the rest of their lives, Jaxon Dart goes down, Malik Nabers goes down, Andrew Thomas went down, and Brian Burns really went down. Dart is most likely out for the year now with some MCL injury, Nabers came back only to drop a couple balls, and Burns and Thomas were quiet all game before their injuries. Not in a good way. Total regression from the NYG team, especially from Jameis Winston, who was missing screen passes. Luckily, and the only lucky thing about this, is that John Harbaugh is here. Hopefully, the ship can be turned around at some point. Even without Dart. But Giants fans have heavy hearts today. I am going to take the Titans because they played better than the Giants last week and half their starting lineup isn’t hurt. Brutal.
