Rams @ Eagles: Self-Induced Calamities

The Rams had every right to win this game against the Broncos in the first half of the game. In the second however, they gave up that right through some terrible offense. The Rams had 273 yards of total offense at the end of the first half, and the Broncos had 63 total yards of offense at that same time. I mean, the Rams were up 16-0 midway through the 3^rd quarter. The Rams defense allows the Broncos to come back into the game, and the Matthew Stafford throws a pick down 4 on the last drive of the game. I know Denver is a good team, but that was a blown victory from the Rams. They will be using this as fuel to play a busted-up Eagles team.

         Where to even begin with the Eagles. I don’t have a lot of nice things to say about how the Eagles played. Saquon had another bad game, going under 100 yards from scrimmage for a third week in a row. Jalen Hurts looked bad again, pairing his good throws with equally bad ones, and their defense is abysmal. They just let Case Keenum stroll onto the field and do as he pleased. The Eagles defense gave up 375 yards of offense, 24 first downs, and converted on 3^rd down 5 different times. If your offense can’t bail out your defense, and your defense can’t bail out your offense, it seems like we have found Philly in a continual cycle of pain. I’m sure something will be figured out in time. Just not this week against this opponent.
