Cards @ Giants: The Real Identity Crisis

Absolutely hats off to the Cardinals this past week. They were 7.5-point underdogs. They lost by just 6 points to a high-powered 49er team. Jacoby Brissett had a decent game with 280 yards and 2 TDs. Jeremiyah Love finished the game with 109 total scrimmage yards and a receiving TD. Their defense may have let up points, but the Cardinals stay keeping games close. I think they found their identity, which is to score points. Obviously, it’s not an exact science. But so far, the Cardinals have the most success when they are scoring points early. And don’t stop. It’s good they play the Giants this week, because this NY team has had trouble getting to the QB and shutting down WRs.

         The Giants got a dirty, dirty win against the Titans. Spoiled the homecoming for HC Rob Saleh and OC Brian Daboll. Like I said, this game was wet, ugly, and not easy to watch. Especially for Giants fans, as they almost choked a 12-point lead in the 4^th quarter. Luckily, Cam Ward’s inexperience shines again as he throws an INT to seal the game. It’s been a busy week for the Giants. They signed J.J McCarthy yesterday, and released Odell Beckham Jr. I’m not sure what these moves even mean, but they aren't going to do much. It’s a shame we aren’t going to see OBJ catch a TD in a Giants’ uniform. He was only open almost every time he took the field. But no, let’s give Braxton Berrios a look… I don’t think the Giants can win this week unless their defense wakes up. Take away Jevon Holland, and the Giants are 1-2. I like Arizona in a close one.
