Cardinals @ 49ers: Can't Ever Get Behind

The Cardinals quick stint playing well came to an end last weekend. They put 7 points up against the reigning SB champs. They got absolutely dotted up by Drew Lock and JSN, as the pair connected on 3 different TDs. Jacoby Brissett had a terrible day, finishing with 95 yards in the air for 1 TD and 1 INT. So, bad defense and bad offense. Makes sense they scored 7 and had 31 put up on them. For the Cardinals to be successful, they can’t get behind in games, as crazy as that sounds. They can’t come back into a game. But they can hold a lead as they proved Week 1.

         The 49ers look like the well-oiled machine of the latter years. They whipped Miami by 3+ scores. Brock Purdy continued his successful campaign with 287 yards on 20/22 passes and 2 TDs. McCaffrey was everywhere. He only recorded 23 rush yards but racked up 2 TDs. And he had 43 yards in the passing game. I’d say the only thing to fix for the 49ers is to not give the ball up, as Miami recorded one fumble recovery in their game. I’m knit picking, but we’re striving for greatness. I like San Francisco in this matchup against the Cards.
