Lose the Inconsistency

If the Colts lose this game, they will move further down the bubble, but they will not be out of the playoffs, just a little bit further down the standings. I’d like to see them win and start some momentum as they head into the weaker end of their schedule, as they face the Giants and Jaguars in the following weeks. Yes, the Colts have been inconsistent, and they are definitely not a powerhouse of a team, but they’re right in it, so now’s the time to excel. The Colts as a whole, are going to need to have a dominant performance this week. They can’t leave this game to chance. The Titans are a much worse football team, but it’s the best team on that day that wins, not the team that is supposed to win. Anthony Richardson needs to play a succinct, complete game with as little mistakes as possible, and their defense needs to step up big time, as they are 28th in the league and are going against the 27th ranked offense. An even bout, but the Colts need to demonstrate why they are in playoff contention. No mor lollygagging, go in there and start to make some noise.
The Titans, while eliminated from playoff contention, showed some promise with Mason Rudolph in at QB. After benching Will Levis last week, Rudolph came in and threw for 209 yards and 2 TDs with 1 INT. Pretty good for a backup who doesn’t play too often. But in all honesty, unless the Colts play a really bad game, I don’t think they lose to the Texans, who have proven to be a top three worst team in the league. They are shuffling QBs, and not a whole lot of proven weapons on the team, but they somehow are 2nd in the league in defense. If they are to win this game, it’s going to be their defense that leads the way, which is a more than possible outcome. But with how bad their offense is and how much they turn it over, as they lead the league averaging over two turnovers a game. Sure, maybe their defense steps up, but with an offense like that, you’re kind of chained down. I like the Colts here.
