Fantasy Picks Week 2

Omarion Hampton

         Omarion Hampton had a slow start last week, which was on par with the Chargers slow start versus the Cardinals. This week, LA gets the Raiders, which should fare better for them than last week. Hampton’s 12 carries for 43 yards and a TD last week will be eclipsed this week against a softer Raiders defense. I’m thinking at least 15-20 points here.

Terry McLaurin

         McLaurin had a ridiculously quiet week against the Eagles in Week 1. 2 catches for 14 yards on just 4 targets. JD5 was spreading the ball around nicely, but it all came a little too late. Look for McLaurin to get involved early and often to try spark Washington against Dallas this week.

Patrick Mahomes

         A nice reminder for everyone who forgot how good Mahomes is when he’s healthy and not playing hero ball. He finished the game with 184 yards and 2 TDs on 15/27 throws. Not even a great night for Mahomes statistically, but the Chiefs dominated on offense against a stout Broncos team. I’m thinking he’s going to have a lot more success against a worse Indy defense.
