Bombs Away?

As an enjoyer of good football, I will very much be looking forward to how this game fairs. The Bills, who have clinched the AFC East with ease and who are nipping at the heels of the number one team in the AFC, the Chiefs, are going to look to continue their seven-game win streak against an inconsistent Rams team. The Rams had a rough start to the year, losing two of three games, and losing Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua going into Week 3. While they are 6-6, they have lacked that bomb threat on offense between their own three-headed monster in Kyren Williams, Kupp, and Nacua. After getting essentially brutalized by Saquon Barkley, who ran for 256 yards and 2 TDs, they were able to bounce back against the Saints. For a Rams team that is currently a bottom half team defensively, the Bills are going to look to do some damage offensively, forcing the Chiefs to win games their own games to hold onto that #1 seed. Indirect pressure on the Chiefs. Despite all of that, I do believe the Bills are the strongest team in the AFC and will try and blow right past the Rams. There will be some familiar faces this game, as former Rams players Taylor Rapp and Von Miller will be suiting up for the Bills in their second and third seasons with the team. If I’m Sean McVay, I’m going to do my best to try and keep up offensively with the Bills, and to try and prevent them from driving up and down the field with their typical success, as they allow almost 360 yards a game.
POSTGAME:
This is the game that should’ve had the “Game of the week” title. That’s my mistake. If you were lucky enough to be blessed with the gift of vision and a device that could access FOX, you were really gifted with a real treat. That, was an NFL game. Two good teams going at it, more importantly, two extremely gifted QBs going at it. I mean, Matthew Stafford vs. Josh Allen, my goodness. And it most definitely delivered. Matthew Stafford was lights out, going 23/30 with 320 yards in the air and 2 TDs. Kupp and Nacua had monster days, combining for 3 total TDs and 254 yards receiving. Kyren Williams also got himself on the board with 2 TDs on almost 30 carries. But it was Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills who stole the show, despite losing the game 44-42. They were down 31-14 after the first drive of the third quarter, but that did not deter Buffalo, as they took it one drive at a time. Even when they would score, and the Rams would turn around and drive down the field and score a TD, the Bills never gave up. They lost the game because time quite literally ran out and the Rams scored last, but they showed what kind of team they are. They are never going to quit, and with Josh Allen at QB, they are never lost. This team is going to be destructive in the playoffs, it’s going to be fun to watch. By the way, Josh Allen was 22/37 with 342 passing yards, 3 passing TDs, had 82 rushing yards and 3 more TDs on the ground. 6 total TDs. Probably want to throw the MVP on him.
